Introducing new JomDirectory 5.0!

Today we are happy to introduce the release of the JomDirectory 5.0! Most of the code has been completely rewritten and now uses fantastic Bootstrap 4 with all compatible libraries. JomDirectory 5 looks amazingly beautiful with all the new layouts and CSS. We have been working on this new release for a long time and we are really excited about it!

JomDirectory 5 now uses Bootstrap 4 as main front-end framework. Bootstrap in general is one of the most popular frameworks used for building fast and reliable responsive websites and apps. Initially developed by Twitter over the past four years since the launch of the project it went through few rewrites, each time getting better and more popular.

Our directory extension will now integrate seamlessly with upcoming Joomla 4. Backend interface has been updated for best user experience. All the forms and grids has been rewritten to use the latest UX standards. It is perfect for bussines directory, online catalog or any other directory based website.

Detailed view layout has been rewritten and now offers 2 columns layout. It has minimalist and modern look. It's light, elegant and focused on main directory features like: map and address, phone, website address or contact form.

Front Admin (User panel) & Membership

The look of the Front User Panel has been changed and it is cleaner now. New forms greatly improves submitting process of the new listings by the website users. Membership has been rebuilt and now offers fresh look to present the plans.

Page Loading Speed

All the scripts used in the extension has been compacted, which improves the page loading speed greatly. Code optimization and cleaning makes it more readable for the developers.
